Their conversation started up for but a few words as his fear soon came back to him. Their time had now come to an end and their farewells began. He thanked her for her time and commented on her voice once more as it did cheer him up to hear the smile in it. And as much as he had wanted it to continue, it ended and soon he was once again left with the emptiness opening up inside him With his head lowered, the light went out as the darkness of His reality came to be. As he sat in the darkness, he wondered if the conversation had happened…. And was she even here or did he imagine her. His memory was not what it once was and he had lost count of the number of many times that he had tried to escape the prison of His reality. Perhaps it was best if he waited. Maybe someone would come and save him from this prison of his reality….or perhaps he could imagine a new person to talk with. On and on they talked, though part of him dreaded each following line yet unspoken. He knew their time together would soon come to an end and that their company must part once more. He always hated when the conversation ended and farewells were said. Since all that was said, felt and experienced would soon fade away and be forgotten as the blankets of sorrow soon wrapped him once more and his painful reality returned to him. Even for a few brief moments when she had to leave his company, he could feel His reality start to creep back towards him as thoughts of his life started to circle his thoughts like hungry carrion awaiting to feast upon his dreams and warm feelings. From lost opportunities, to being faced with The Truth, his world started to form again till She returned. Their conversation was not exciting nor interesting, but to him they could have spoken about anything in truth, since he did not care what they talked about. Just as long as she spoke, laughed, sighed…and smiled. He always could tell when she smiled… It was a smile that would brighten the world when it formed. Her voice took on a certain tone to it when she spoke and he felt warm within when he heard that certain tone.
